Beech class were hard at work today making beeswax sandwich wraps.  We have been talking about the damage single use plastic is doing and we are going to wrap our sandwiches in these instead of using cling film.
We sold the wraps in the playground and made £60 for the PTA  Well done Beech Class!
We had a fun day today making an Anglo Saxon village.  We learnt how they had a great hall in the village and then single room dwellings.  They were constructed out of different materials such as wood, stone, mud and even manure!  Take a look at our creations.
A big thank you to Mrs Parker from Beech Class for preparing the vegetable beds and buying the young plugs.  We had a lovely afternoon planting and the children are looking forward to eating the results later in the term!
