Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is our highest priority at St Julian’s Church School. We are committed to providing a safe and secure environment where every child feels valued, supported and protected.
Everyone who works or volunteers at our school shares responsibility for safeguarding. We have robust safeguarding procedures in place, including safer recruitment practices, thorough induction and training, and clear policies that help ensure all adults working with our children are suitable to do so.
Our safeguarding procedures are designed to protect children from harm, identify concerns at the earliest opportunity and ensure that appropriate action is taken to support children and families. This includes maintaining a safe and secure school environment, promoting safe working practices, ensuring visitors and volunteers are appropriately managed, supporting children to stay safe online and helping them understand how to keep themselves safe in a range of situations.
Safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We work closely with parents, carers and external agencies to ensure that every child is protected, listened to and given the support they need to flourish.
