Easter Stations of the Cross

Thank you to Mrs Miles for organising a fantastic Easter experience for the whole school. The children moved around different stations set up in the hall, learning about and exploring the Easter Story. It was such a lovely way to bring the story alive and the children really enjoyed it.
Miss Mills

Oak class really enjoyed their RE lesson this week. Mrs Miles had prepared the stations of the cross to represent story of Easter. The children enjoyed sharing their understanding of Palm Sunday, the Passover and the arrest and crucifixion of Jesus. Saviour was very happy to have his feet washed by Mrs Miles just like Jesus washed the disciples feet. The children also talked about their prior learning of the special Jewish meal of Passover. They shared times when they have special meals for celebrations.
