Helping in School

Helping in School at St Julian's Church School

We warmly welcome parents and carers who have time to volunteer and support our school community.

We really value the support of our parent and community volunteers. There are lots of different ways you can get involved. We welcome volunteers with a wide range of skills, interests and experiences.

We regularly need volunteers to hear children read across the school, as well as occasional support for school trips, local walks, art lessons and other activities. You may also have skills that could enrich our children’s learning, such as cooking, gardening, crafts, music, sport, art, languages, technology or a particular hobby or area of expertise.

If you have some time to offer, please let us know what you enjoy or what skills you could share. We can then explore opportunities that would be a good fit for you and our children.

All volunteers are required to complete a short volunteer induction and we will arrange the appropriate DBS check before you begin volunteering in school.

If you are interested in volunteering, please speak to the school office. We would love to hear from you!
