Climate Action
As a Church of England school, we are committed to caring for God’s creation and playing our part in protecting the planet for future generations.
Our Climate Action Plan sets out the steps we are taking as a school community to live more sustainably, reduce our carbon footprint and nurture a lifelong respect for the world around us.
We believe that caring for our planet is something we can all contribute to. Through our curriculum, our daily choices and the way we care for our school environment, we aim to help children understand the importance of sustainability and develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need to make a positive difference.
Our plan focuses on practical actions that can make a real difference, including reducing waste, saving energy and water, encouraging biodiversity, making sustainable choices and promoting environmentally friendly ways of travelling to school.
Most importantly, we want our children to feel empowered to make a difference. By working together as a community, we can create a healthier, more sustainable future for our school, our local area and the wider world.
