Language Day Trip

On Thursday 30th November, a group of children went to Downside school, which was doing a language day. The day was based around Spanish Christmas traditions. We first learnt some words such as ‘Papa Nöel’ which means Father Christmas. Next we made some Spanish Christmas cards. We had to use words like ‘Feliz Navidad’ which means Merry Christmas. Once we had finished, we had lunch. Then we played a few games in the sports hall. Lastly, we listened to ‘Feliz Navidad’; a spanish Christmas song. The day was so fun and I hope we get to go on more trips like this!
