THIS GIRL CAN

On Tuesday two of our Year 5 girls, Anhelina and Brooke, attended a leadership course that focuses on girls in sport and encouraging leadership qualities. The girls had a fabulous day and were amazing role models. Here are a few words about their experiences.
Mrs Parker

I went to Bath University with Anhelina to their sports village. We met lots of other girls from other schools who were with us in the day. We were given the chance to take part and try lots of different sports, including: volleyball on the sand, trampolining, badminton and running on the track outdoors. We took part in some games with the other girls and at the end we had a tour of all of the sports centre. My favourite part of the day was trampolining, running and volleyball.
I really enjoyed the day, even though I was tired when we finished!
Brooke

We played badminton, volleyball ball in the sand and trampolining. We were with about 20 other girls from other schools. My favourite part was trampolining.
