Enrichment Overview at St Julian's Church School

Planning for children’s Personal Development and Wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.

Our Enrichment Vision

Rooted in our Christian vision, Aim High – Believe – Succeed, our enrichment and personal development offer helps every child to discover their gifts, broaden their horizons and grow in confidence.

AIM HIGH

I discover. I wonder. I imagine.
We encounter new people, places, ideas and experiences.

BELIEVE

I can. I belong. I have something to offer.
We develop confidence, resilience, independence and character.

SUCCEED

I contribute. I lead. I make a difference.
We use our skills and experiences to contribute to our school, community and wider world.

We want every child to experience the abundance of life beyond the academic curriculum: to discover new places and perspectives, meet inspirational people, develop new skills, overcome challenges, take responsibility and make a difference to others.

The St Julian’s Journey

Our tree represents the way we think about children’s development at St Julian’s.

The roots are our vision.
They provide the foundations for everything we do.

The trunk represents our values.
These give children the character and principles they need to flourish.

The branches represent the different aspects of our curriculum and personal development offer.
They reach out beyond the classroom, giving children opportunities to explore, experience, challenge themselves and grow.

The fruit that will grow represents our children as confident, capable and compassionate young people who are ready to make their own contribution to the world.

Through carefully chosen experiences, we will support children to flourish physically, intellectually, spiritually, socially and culturally, developing the knowledge, skills, character and confidence they need to live an abundant life.

Our ambition is that every child leaves St Julian’s having experienced, discovered and achieved, with a stronger understanding of themselves, their community and the wider world.
