CROSS COUNTRY

It was a pleasure to take a team of 16 Year 5/6 children to represent the school in the MSN Games Cross Country. The children took on a 1.2km course and for most of them, this was their first time competing at this distance.
They showed so many amazing qualities, demonstrating resilience on a challenging course. Every child completed the race, enabling their race group to compete as a team for points. It was a joy to witness the kindness and support they showed one another, cheering teammates on and even running alongside their peers to encourage them to keep going.
A huge well done to all the children on their finishing results! We had some high placements among a very competitive field of runners.
Thank you to Miss Price (Bath Spa trainee teacher), who supported both the children and me at the event. And a big thank you to the parents who came along to cheer the children on. We really appreciate your support!
