HARVEST SHARING

Beech Class have had a wonderful (and slightly messy!) time making pumpkin hummus for our Harvest cooking. We learnt about seasonal food, food hygiene and safety before peeling and chopping the pumpkin into cubes to roast. We blended oil, garlic, lemon, chickpeas, tahini paste and pumpkin together to make hummus. We enjoyed sharing this with Chestnut class in our house teams. We took a mindful moment and thought about how lucky we are to have had this opportunity and to have food to eat. Thank you to Clara for such a thoughtful prayer about this.
