SWIMMING GALA

Two weeks ago some of our Year 5/6 children took part in the MSN games Swimming Gala, representing St Julian’s. The children competed against 8 other small schools in a range of races – from medley relays to individual races. All of the children who attended were excellent role models and everyone took part in at least one race.
Our children came back with a haul of bronze, silver and gold medals. For some children this was the first time they had been a competitor representing the school. They all showed great resilience and aspiration to be the best they could be.
The final result was St Julian’s came away with the Runners Up Shield, missing first place by just 3 points! A huge thank you and well done to Michael, Owen, Rosie, George, Frances, Ruby, Violet, Matilda, Rufus, Benny, Peter, Ezra and Sid.
