World Book Day

What fun we had yesterday on World Book Day! The children completed a day of book-tastic(!!) activities, including having adults from across the school visit their classroom to share a story with them. The children also created entries for the World Book Day design a gift card competition.

Thank you to every child who dressed up and the parents and carers who helped to prepare costumes. Thank you as well to every child who entered the recycled book character competition. The Librarians helped judge both competitions and it was incredibly hard to choose our favourites. The children were so excited to talk to us about the characters they were dressed as and share their joy for reading.
