YEAR 6 CROSS COUNTRY

This week I had the pleasure of taking 8 of our year 6 children to represent St Julian’s at the Year 6 MSN Games cross country at Somervale school. The girls team came first overall and have won the trophy for best performance as a team winning by over 18 points! The boys team had a fantastic set of results with two of the team finishing in the top ten (Sid 2nd and Joseph 8th), placing 2nd overall – just 5 points from first place!

This was a hard course and both myself and parents watching were incredibly proud to see the determination and resilience that the children showed to complete the race! They truly gave their all and achieved amazing results personally and as a team! Thank you for putting yourselves forward! We look forward to receiving the girls’ trophy!
