THE MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT TEAM

This week Beech and Sycamore had an assembly with Charlotte Baker from the Bath and North East Somerset Mental Health Support Team (MHST). She is our Education Mental Health Practitioner.
Charlotte explained to the children that she works with schools, families and children to support children with their mental health and wellbeing. She explained to the children about what ‘mental health’ means and showed the children ways we can help ourselves when we are not feeling great. We even practised some pufferfish breathing!

We look forward to continuing our work with Charlotte throughout the year.
